930 S console
I bought one of these consoles aftermarket to retrofit into my 911 SC, and I have been pretty dissapointed with the fit on it. I know a few of you have done these before, but it seems to be kind of a hack job to get it to fit; to get it to sit right with the dash and shifter.
Just not something I'd want to put in a porsche. So, does anyone know of a real 930S type console available? Remembering that last time be talked about it, I could never establish what they were exactly (factory option on any car or just on the 930's). I've attached a Anyway, just thought I'd though it out there if anyone knows of a factory one available. Otherwise, I'll be trying Hershey next month. Thanks! Chuck

AJ-USA used to sell the genuine item for $350 ... a little over 10 years ago ... ON SALE!

Yes, I tried AJ-USA before ordering from BBM, but they told me they no longer stocked that product, which was a REAL disappointment.
I would have rathered payed AJ-USA $350 for it ON SALE than pay less from BBM and have a ***** quality product delivered to my door 3.5 months later! Oh well... once bitten, twice shy
