I just had my car painted. Unfortunatley I have to park the car outside. I have a car cover already that guards against rain and what-not. I'm looking for one that is soft that will fit under the other one so the paint will not get harmed. Any one know of a good one.
Thanks [This message has been edited by lsolon (edited 07-19-2001).] |

There are a lot of different covers, with different materials, out there these days, but ask yourself: "What materials do detailers use to dry cars, etc." The answer is almost always 100% cotton.
Its still, in my book, the best for ease on the paint and breathability, and still the best material for car covers, overall. |

I've got the flannel cover from http://www.coverking.com/ on my concours 911. It is thee best for your paint and would work with an outdoor cover over it. The fit was perfect and it has not mad a mark on my black paint. Don't skimp here, I'd rather see you without a cover than with a low quality, poor fitting, paint scratching piece of

IMHO, I believe covers made with the material Noah are the best. Soft inside, thick padding on the outside. Rain proof too.
