Does anyone make blacked out signal lenses?

I would be worried about the attention a black turbo look w/ black turn signals would get from the CHP

Why though? A 930 is perfect with the amber ones

Bling? Damn people!

Im bored - I want to tinker with the thing but nothing needs fixen!

Zamirz - It's a M491 not a 930 (would never claim that it is)

I saw a Stang (black) with black wheels and blacke dout signals lights and I thought that would look good on my car.

Maybe i'm wrong - someone with some art program could prove me wrong I am sure. I just got to see it first

you can buy pretty heavy duty window tint, almost like tape that is translucent enough to use on lenses and such. i used it in high school for fun on my friends car, looks and works very well plus you dont have to remove the tailights and you can convert back to normal in seconds.

i used to buy it through window tinting shops but there are now some stores on the net. i dont know how you would search for it though

A 911 that doesn't need anything? Enjoy that while you can. Something always seems to appear if you look hard enough or drive it a bit more. How about shifter bushings.

It would look cool.
I personally would not do it to my car but hey, it's your car.
Have fun

I'll second that!! Bigrubber... seemed like a significant amount of smoke coming out the tail in your pic on the other thread... Does it do that much?

You can buy special spray paint for tinting light lenses. Mind you, they may make your car non-road worthy/ legal - at least here in Australia.

if the tinting can be easily removed there's not much cost involved in the entertainment.

Driving in SoCal should be much more exciting when other drivers can't see your blinkers

Cant see why this seems such an issue all the new vw, audis etc.. come with clear smoked lenses, as long as you run the correct bulbs whats the problem?

I don't trust the jerks anyway even thou I try to size them up in advance.
I was considering a stop light strobe kit for appx. $100. Warning strobe emergencys are almost a done deal.

I believe that the tail black tinting is designed not to hinder rear lights.

Will the blacked out blinker lenses match up against the center reflector? Hmmmm.

You may want to consider the Euro Lenses. IMO, nicer than the US version.

Good point, that iswhy I was hoping someone could do some imaging magic to a 911 in black
