Rear Decklid 3.2 vs C4 are same?
 

Hi!, i'am Danilo from Italy..and sorry for my bad english.
i have 3.2 cabrio 85 whit 964 bumpers + rear deck steel (fake..not open).
questions:
-the rear deck 3.2 are same 964?
-if unmount the 964 grille...the 3.2 grille fit on this deck?

decks fit each other but the hinge mounting points are different .... they do sell adaptive hinges to go one way or the other ......

this is a modified mid year 911 hinge for the C2 spoiler

a C2 hinge will also fit

a c2 hinge will not work with an early body and a late lid unless modified ...

to my knowledge ...

and the early hinge must be modified to fit the early body with the late lid .......

check with MATTMAN on this forum for the absolute correct but i am 99.9% sure

i don't remember details but i have a set of C2 hinges somewhere that fit my car. It came with spoiler

The Grill from a C4 is bigger than the 3.2 due to its function as the motorized spoiler.
