In-car camera question, for those who've done it.
For those of you who have tried a camera on the dash near the windshield, did you notice any extra reflections or overexposure? I'm wondering if imagery quality is improved with a mount further back in the cabin on the roll bar, in effect adding a big sunshade to the camera.

My camera is mounted on the dash, its more easy to turn on and start it this way.
As for quality see link below. There is one place on the track where the sun reflect on the wiper post, yes that 's the wiper post in the middle. Le Circuit Mt-Tremblant - YouTube

I think that answers my question! Seems to work well. A little bit of black tape on the wiper post would probably kill even the tiny bit of reflection you got. Thanks, Jim
