post-winter checklist?
The battery's charged and I'm hoping to reconnect it tomorrow and fire up the beast. All I did in the fall was remove the battery, pump up the tires to 50psi, and roll it a few feet back and forth in the garage every week or two. Are there any unforeseen pitfalls that I should be anticipating when I turn the key tomorrow? Thanks.

you should have changed the oil and put fuel stabilizer (stabil) in a full tank of gas before storing.
at this point there is nothing else for you to do except a visual inspection for rodent evidence. don't worry, i was nervous my first time also. i believe in the "dead storage" mode so my car sits for almost 6 months without starting. it always fires right up as though it was never stored, no problems at all. p.s. for more info do a search under my username. i believe the thread was titled something like "first buffalo, ny dewinterization" |

Thanks, Daryl. You reminded me that I did put stabilizer in a full tank of gas. I also put steel wool in the various orifices and spread a few mothballs around. I hate winter...
