What kind of connector is this?

This is one of the connectors that go to the Thermo switch. Can any one tell me the exact name of it and where I can buy some? I know they are some type of spade connector that has the cut outs so it will slip on the circular switch. I have had no luck finding out what its called.

thanks

That is one of the most common connectors on the planet. Cut it off as close to the connector as possible and take it to your local automotive, hardware, electronics store and they'll hand you a pack of them. Get the crimping tool and you're good to go. It's a spade connector as you said, female type.

If those connectors go to the thermo time switch, on my car they are two different sizes. If I'm not mistaken the round terminals they connect to, 1 is one diameter and the other a different diameter. The switch has two functions and on my car it matters which wire goes where. Hope the one you are missing is the common one. HTH

Well you would think so but that is not actually the case. I have been to home depot, lowes, ace hardware, autozone, advance auto, and looked on the net without finding that exact kind. Its the cutouts on the side that make it unique
