Actually, I've always kind of liked the Chalon kit. It's got that certain 80's disco flair about it. But that is the butt-ugliest color...

Grassroots Motorsports magazine is rebuilding a 914 in that same John Deere color. They did a full teardown-the-body-and-take-the-glass-out repaint, and kept the color!

I'd pick black for sure on a 914 - minimizes those big black bumpers (assuming you don't have the earlier chrome ones) and also the black targa bar. I prefer black for 911 Targas for the same reason.

Dr. Frankenteen would be proud of this collection! :)
