997 GT Street R

Anyone know anything about this?
Andrew Bynum lives on my street. He has the greatest collection of cars parked in front of his house and they are constantly changing. There are 2 Bentley's in the driveway all the time and usually several F cars and GTR's etc out front. He has never had a Porsche that I have seen until this morning.
Parked out front was a Porsche GT Street R.
It was loaded with carbon fibre, has massive carbon fibre brakes and is running shaved Pilot Sports, I actually though it was on slicks.
Any way I thought I would share some pictures. One of his security guys told me "it would not be a good idea to take pictures of it"

Parked on the street equals a free pass to photograph it. Tell the security guard to go polish his stick or something productive.

I didn't know who this cat was so I googled his name--

Seems he might need to learn how to park his cars a tad more respectfully.

The security guy wasn't that bad. He just stepped out of the upper balcony asked what I was doing and told me a couple of time "that wasn't a good idea"
I told him I liked the car, it was on a public street, and I was on public property and he went back inside.
Andrew is usually a pretty nice guy in the neighborhood. Use to play hoops with the neighbors and their kids when he first moved in. I think the pressure and all the injuries must get to a young guy after a while. Believe me, I have no tolerance for people mis-using handicapped spots

Bynum is a bright kid and rather well grounded, considering the circumstances.

You can bet your bee-hind they modded the motor.
With their T2.2 engine kit about 150 hp is added...
It's very extreme but I've seen ugliers kit than this one, for sure.

I like the wheels, they are very unique, and I do not see them anywhere on Techarts page at all. So he had the work done with Techart, but must've changed out the rims. Thats one bad looking 997!

That might be the case, but the display he put on in the series against the Mavs was anything but grounded. His forearm he threw was downright nasty, and given that I think pressure is the true test of character I don't think very highly of him:

But back to our regularly scheduled program: That is one interesting 997, I have seen tri spoke wheels before, but never anything like that. Given techart's history I am sure it is a very quick car, just not my cup of tea.
