Bodyshop in N. Houston / Houston?

I created a small accident on my own and need to have my door untweeked and repainted.

Anyone have a recommendation for a body shop here in Houston familiar with single stage paints? North side preferred but will go anywhere in the area for quality work.

A friend of mine has used these guys:

M PERFORMANCE HOUSTON

They are on the north side. Not the cheapest, but they do great work. They painted a 993, and it came out perfect.

These are also the guys that re-did the bugatti that was driven into the bayou.

Hope that helps.

Ken

Thanks Ken. If they're open tomorrow I'll check 'em out. Anyone else?

The only other one I know about - and only kind of - is someone that Mike Callas at Rennsport recommends. It's someone he knows - and I don't remember their name. Basically, when I do paint on my car next year, I'm going to take it to Mike. He and his guys are going to take the car apart for glass out paint, and then he's going to take it to someone to do the paint work. Then he'll put it back together again. I like Mike doing this work, because he and his guys know Porsches, unlike your neighborhood body shop.

Then again - Mike is waaaay out in Sealy (which is 45 minutes from me, and I live on the west side), so it's a good 90 - 100 min drive from The Woodlands.

M Performance is the body guy that used to be at Matthews Auto, and he went out on his own. You could probably take it to Matthews as well, but M Performance it will be perfect. My buddy's 993 was black and he had them do glass out paint and re-spray it Viper green. You can't tell it didn't come from the factory like that.

Good luck.

Ken
