did a search for idle adjust on 3.2... no luck would like to adust idle lower

The idle speed is controled by the DME, ICV, and the idle set screw on the throttle body.

Do you have a Bentley?

We need to be clear about the idle speed adjustment listed in the above 2 posts. This will not reduce the idle below the speed set in the programming of the DME. The reason for this procedure is to get the system adjusted so that the main butterfly is adjusted so it can be correctly compensated for by the idle air control valve.

OK, the idle switch adjustment screw....the one that says "Don't touch this." How serious is that statement?

Installed the SW chip, went to adjust idle speed down (jumped up to 1800 RPM when warm) but idle speed adjustment only had less than one turn in it before completely closed. I could feel 1/4" on the adjustment screw and thought, I can get more out of that, and I did....got it to idle at 950 RPM before running into this thread.

I can get both settings back to "close" and get it to my mechanics to fix my doing OR DO I NOT EVEN START IT? In short, am I harming the engine if I run it now?

The idle switch screw will be a physical adjustment so that the idle switch IS engaged when the throttle is not depressed. This is what tell the DME it's at idle...it's functionality can be checked with an ohmeter.

I'd say your mix needs a baseline check....

Agreed, now that I've moved, back and forth several times, both adjusters, I need to have them reset by someone other than me.....my concern, at this point, would I do any damage to the motor by driving it?
