Assess my PPI compression #s

Hey all,

Getting close to pulling the trigger on an '86 Targa, currently has 130k miles but top end was rebuilt at 100k miles. Had a PPI performed and the following was noted:

Compression Results: 147, 149, 151, 151, 155, 152 (test performed at 3740 feet above sea level)
-Both upper valve covers sweating (valves haven't been adjusted for 9k miles)
-Brake pads: 5MM front and 4MM rear

All I know about compression results is the lowest number should be less than 15% lower than the highest number.

Happy to get any feedback.

Thanks,

Tawheed

Compression numbers look like numbers you can live with. All in the same group. If the oil pressure is good, should be solid.

Does the tech performing the compression test remain neutral - as in no opinion?

Surely, he must have said something.

BTW, those numbers sound fine to me. Cranking speed will have an effect on pure numbers, but it's important to have consistent figures.

He said they were good. Figured I'd throw it out to the boards just to garner additional feedback :)
