80 sc instrument gauge lights

I'm still trying to get me instrument lights on the panel to work. I think it might be that I have left the ground off the G2 position when I replaced my master cylinder. Bently says G2 ground location is behind the heater blower control panel. Do I access this through the baggage area or by removing the blower control panel?

Heater blower control is in the passenger compartment. The thing with the sliders. If it is behind the panel it is inside the car and you should access from underneath the dash while on your back in a very uncomfortable position.
