Talking 911 oil cooler

Do I have to drop the engine to replace a bad oli cooler?

If you mean the internal coller, you don't have to drop it but you do have to lower it.

Bring it down about 6 inches and you should be able to reach.

junior...naturally use new O-rings/seals. Don't know w/year you have, but my 2.7 has a factory case weak spot under the cooler. I check for any possible case cracks that will leak oil. I simple pressure test may not show a cooler leak. Send it out or do it by the book, IMHO. I changed my cooler by dropping as Clark said.
