Fuel Pump Ground Wire

Hello. Can any one tell me where the ground for the fuel pump is located? Meaning where the chassi ground is located in the car.

Car: 1980 SC 3.0L

thanks

There is one behind the dash radio area, under the hood in the area where the wiring comes through to the fuse block and I believe there is one under the dash by your left knee.

The fuel pump is grounded at G-3 which is where the battery ground strap locates to the body.

I looked at the Bentley to confirm my thoughts.

Maybe it changes by year? I just happened to look at my car the other day ('74 911) and the fuel pump ground is located behind the dash in the area as Bruce mentioned - the one located near the driver's left knee. . .

It does change by year. An 84 grounds on the fender just behind the fuse panel.
