Front oil cooler question

I cannot find the answers after searching the board.. so here it goes..

Does any of you know/remember if a 70 row Mocal will fit in the front bumper of a 73 with a GT-Racing RSR spoiler? if so is there any space to install the additional fan??

If not, what is the 'proper' size/model oil cooler?

I'm planing to replace the trombone cooler with a bumper mounted one as part of the 'refreshing' of my car.

Thanks in advance.

O don't think it will fit, try to find an RX7 oil cooler, either off a 1st generation or second generation is the easiest to find, they fit nicely.

If you want a Mazda oil cooler....look at '84 and up.
The earlier ones were water cooled and part of the oil filter housing.

Just about any cooler (including the Mocal) will fit behind the spoiler, but the fan will not, unless you modify the front tub. Patrick Motorsports has a nice one by Setrab that fits perfect.
