I am trying to reach this shop, but cannot seem to reach them. Are they still around (in Monterey area)?

They could easily be on vacation, or something, but I was hoping to some idea if I should move on to another shop, or not. Based on his reputation, I'd like to try him first.

David has closed his shop and is working at Monterey Porsche. He is a fine tech, and the independent service community is poorer for it

For sure. Good guy. Sorry to hear it. He helped me in a pinch when I was in Monterey a few years ago.

just to update. dave is doing well in semi retirement working out of his shop, in monterey of course. he is one of the good guys, and a pretty good race driver too boot. I'm confident the PRC paddock misses him more than they do me on race weekends.
