How do you restore tail light assemblies

I have a 1973, 911E and the reflective material inside the tail light assembly is flaking off. Is there anyone who could offer advice on how re-coat the lining of the assembly or know some business that could do the work.
Thanks, Hutch

Aluminium spray paint has worked for me.
Clean off old flaky stuff , prime (I like the zinc rich "cold gal" that we get in Oz) and paint.

There have been several posts on this subject.

Do a search under tailight lenses.

I used chrome paint on one, and it came out great. Make sure it's thoroughly cleaned inside, and give it a coat of primer first.

Amen to paint. Aluminum and cold galvanized are both good.
