1978 911SC Decals
Hi All,
So I've nearly finished the restoration of my Australian Delivered 1978 911SC. I just wanted to know if the engine bay decals I have are true and correct for my car, and if I'm missing any what they'd be? Any info would be greatly appreciated ;-) ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I went to google.com and entered "1978 911SC engine" as the search term. Then I clicked on images in the upper left. There are several examples.
You don't show it but there is a shell sticker on the air cleaner cover and from the small sample it looks like the two smaller stickers should be shifter to the right one cell and another big one planted in the first right hand side cell. Have no idea what they say and there may be differences in the stickers based on destination so I am of little real help. Google Images |

Cheers Joe,
Bob was kind enough to email me the ROW parts list which surprisingly shows different stickers/decals than yours (US). Ever so slight differences... I've added to my PP order :-b

Nice looking engine, Joe. My 81 has the metal lines and they lose their cadmium plating pretty quick and get bent up (and look skanky). Great functionality but I wish they made a set of hard lines like the 930 that are heftier, wrap behind , down and then run to the injector ports.
