Banned but not out, yet..

Bad wiring or bad bulb?
This thread is doomed to obscurity before it is even typed. How many times have you had a bulb, (marker, brake, running, parking) go out, but when you give it a little wiggle, it fires right up and glows brightly until it's turned off and turned on again? So I put a little glob of solder on the end of the worn contact and no luck. So I bend the tab contact out a little to insure a good connection, and no luck once I power it back on. Check the wires, etc, wiggle the bulb and it fires right up until I turn it off and back on again. I try a different bulb and poof, problem solved. All the wiggling, contact bending, etc, were for not. Even though the old bulb looked fine and lit up it developed an internal fault.
So next time try a new bulb before you knock yourself out with a bad bulb.

My bulb for the clock in the car went bad, but looked fine. I'm actually still looking for a replacement. Anyone know where to find the tiny instrument bulbs???? I'll look on pelican after I post this...
