collapsible oil return tubes(removal)
Hi everyone,
I am pulling my cylinder heads off to do my head bolts(as many know from my previous posts). Wondering if there is a way to remove the oil return tubes without destroying them. I did a search and I think it was Superman who said to use a hose clamp and pry against that. I am most concerned about getting them out of case side.........I could just use a socket and drive it in from the cam housing side. Thanks ahead of time for your reply - Steve |

Once you remove the heads just pull the tubes out.If you don't remove the heads then slide the circlips back and collapse the tubes. You should change the seals on the end before you put it back together.Maybe I am missing somthing in your question?
