I got it done.I got my fuch refinished and found a 16 inch collapsible tire.It took 4 tire shops before I could get someone to even attempt it.$15 and it was done.

Nice!

So if a collapseable tire will fit a standard Fuch, can one assume a standard tire will fit on the steelie spare wheel?

Sure...the 356 outlaws use the alloy space savers. They get bend over bucks for them. Sizes are limited....

Wayne I believe in carrying an extingusher.I have always kept it in my trunks and have used one 4 different times. My 914 fuel injection caught on fire when I was in an underground parking garage,I put a fire out on the side of a road, and put out two small car fires on random drive ups over the years.I may not be covered in every situation by having it up front but if I know you have it you can usually get the job done.
