1982 ROW "Ferry Porsche" Edition 911SC

Hello All,

Just purchased a 1982 ROW "Ferry Porsche" edition 911SC. Her name is Emma and she has her original 3.0 engine, Fuchs and dons a meteorite grey coat of paint.

Previous owner says that she is almost completely original, but he is the third owner (for 6 years) and has little history of her prior to that.

I am in the process of restoring her worn interior, and would appreciate it if anybody could provide me more information and pictures of what she is supposed to look like new.

Thanks

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,
I too own a 1982 ROW Ferry Special and have also been looking for original pics some of which are posted below. One of my cars PO's changed the interior to black and I am in the process of trying to find the correct fabric to redo the interior. They are rare beasts go and register her here Simon's Porsche 911 SC Site

Good luck with the interior if you find a supplier for fabric let me know

Tazzieman,

I have the originality guide. Sadly, not much info there and no pictures.

Daviboy,

Thanks, will let you know if I find a supplier. Will probably try one of my local curtain makers. They may make customs paterns. Not OEM, but it's better than nothing.

I have also noticed that the burgundy bits my rear seats are fabric and not leather as in your pics. Wonder if mine is original. Will post more detailed pics of my interior tomorrow.

Rens, a forumer here, is supposed to have a site with lots of info on our cars.
Porsche 911 SC Special Ferry Porsche Edition, see the site, lots of information!!

Unfortunately, the links that were provided do not work
http://www.geocities.com/renspels and

Regards,
Jonathan
