auto X is very fun...gets in your blood, and even though you are not on a real track, you feel the speed, and get quite a rush when you get the most from the car by setting a blistering time!
I think its harder to set a fast time in the dry than wet, because the prepared cars will be much quicker! Good luck ![]()

... make sure you put "R" tires on your list of things to get, that is if you do not have them already. The "R" stands for race, rubber, rails... you take your pick!

Eric shows a hell of a lot of promise. He blew past a guy in his class with a couple of season's worth of seat time. (Don't worry, Eric, Carston isn't mad...just plotting your downfall!)
I neglected to tell Eric that when *I* started AutoX it was the same story. New guy, 911, hot times, places first in class despite the fact that he's never done it before. Haven't won one since! ![]() Get 'er over to Carston's place, Eric, we'll tinker.

Nice job Eric! I was there to witness the driving.
It was also first time autocrossing the new 911SC. I led all the other 911s at the end of the first and second runs in the rain. Then as Eric can attest to, it all fell apart with a massive spin (My first in a 911) and a DNF on my next and last two runs. What fun though! For all you area 911s there is an autocross in Dayton on this Sun March 24 at the VA Hosipal Parking lot. See www.worscca.org for more info and directions. Hope to see many 911s there. Noel |
