What are these switches for?

Will somebody tell me what these switches are for? I've tried them and looked for "changes" or "indications" but haven't been able to figure them out.

the one on the left selects the driver or passenger power mirror.

not sure about the one on the right - but does your car have headlight washers? it looks like that's what it should activate.

well, I guess that kinda answers it for me......this thing has RUF style mirrors on it, so the power mirrors it must have "used" to have have long since been removed. There IS another switch that looks very similar to this mirror on the right side, as indicated on the pic...any other ideas?

And as far as the headlight washer/wiper, doesn't have those either....but again, it may have "used" to have them.

SHEESH! This car is becoming more and more of a mystery every day!

a question back to you - do you know if your steering wheel is stock or after market? Considering that it appears that the PO left you a bunch of mysteries, you may not know, BUT, if you do and if it is an aftermarket MOMO Corse (which i think it is since I kust installed one today) I want to know where to get the porsche crest instead of the MOMO.

thanks

I have an 86 Coupe w/sunroof and washers AND an owners manual. The switch on the left is your mirror selection adjustment switch, if you have a sunroof, that switch would be to its left. The switch on the right is the headlight washer system, and there may also be another switch under the speedometer that rocks left and right. That is your intensive cleaning headlight washer switch.

Don't worry, I would have never known without the manual!

sorry, but this isn't even a pic of my dash/steering wheel. It really belongs to another member that posts here. It just showed the layout of mine so well, that I borrowed it.

As far as the crest, you may wanna try browsing through Pelicans catalog pages, they just might have it for ya.

rcecale--If I do this properly, and get it in under the 65kb limit, you should get a pic from the owners manual (my 86Targa) of the Porsche Dash with everything labeled! Enjoy your new toy!
