Steve Wong is The Man (not a chip story)
 
I think most of us are aware that Steve Wong (911 Chips) is the go-to guy to chip our cars. But I didn't realize how great he is when it comes to customer service.

I had a problem with my DME. Called the number on his website and got his cell phone. "I'm on my way to dyno a car, but tell me what's going on". I explained the problem. "Is that all you need?", he asked. "Yeah, but I need it asap."

I Fedex'd the DME out on Tuesday. He turned it around and sent it back. It was in my car and working on Thursday. Painless.

Its crazy that he can do so much with all the customers hes got these days. I sent him an email, it was long, very long, and had way too many questions. After a day and a half with no reply i started thinking where this "great customer service" was. Next thing I know I get an email from him, about 3x longer than my already long email. It was filled with answers and info that was very useful.

And unlike most companies/people who just try to quickly answer your questions especially after you have bought the product, Steve asked me more about my issue and asked for numbers for him to look-up to better understand the problem . Issue was solved later that day.

I use to send him "shoot the caca e-mail" at 5AM East coast time and he would answer at his 2AM time...

Unbelievable customer appreciation.
