Spare tire over big brakes

I know some says just to get rid of the spare tire weight but I'm with the group that want to have a spare inboard just in case.
Then, after the wide body conversion and big brakes added, I found that the spare does not fit in the front. (Rear is ok). I tried two 1/4 spacers to get the wheel out but it still rubs against the caliper. I'm thinking about adding a 1" spacer/adapter and try again.
Do any one have solve the problem this or other way?

I carry a full size spare. If one will fit in the trunk, Buy the cheapest wheel and tire that will fit the front wheel and put it in the trunk. I know the 205 will fit but the 225 on the rear may not fit so I also carry a Tire plug kit made by Dynaplug! It does a very good job and does not damage the tire! The only suggestion I have is I also carry rubber cement and then it is a 100% correct repair. I cannot tell you how many times I have used mine on the Motorcycles!

A 964 spare should fit. Or try a 968 spare.
