So what splines should I use for Axle flange?

Earlier post yesterday was about backdating to the older CV axle & Bolts, putting the 6 skinny joint bolts I have now back in a bag.
So far, I'm aware that I need to change both the inner and outer flanges Trans./trailing arm. Someone commented on the SPLINES being different for the different year axles they used........My tranny is a 78..as well as the
trailing assembely....If anyone knows the Particulars...PLEASE let me know.....I really want to get the bigger 4 bolts w/the two pins.
