Engine upgrade help?
 

I need some help with where to find a different engine for my 911. I have a 1970 911 with a 993 body kit and want to use the car for circuit and track days. I have a lovely 1969 901 2.0L MFI engine in good condition - meaning it does not smoke or leak oil and runs strong. Where can I trade my engine for something more suitable for my purpose? I don’t mind spending some money but would like to get a good deal?

I simply bought a parts car.

A clean, low-mileage 3.2 powered Carrera that was hit hard in the nose supplied my early 911 with an engine, Motronic box, wiring harness, aluminum banana arms, fuel pump, yada yada...., and a bunch of left-over parts to sell.
