PPI near Fremont, CA recommendations

Guys I was wondering if anybody knows of a good Porsche shop near Freemont, California that does quality pre purchase inspections. Thanks for your help.

I live in Fremont... have for over 20 years. PCA member for even longer than that. No independents in Fremont I can recommend. I know Tony at Heyer Performance pretty well. Mountain View is about 25 minutes away with no traffic. Tony has a crushed 935 in his office. He is excellent.

Bob Grigsby and Dan and Dan at RMG in Sunnyvale are great for PPI. Outstanding.

If you want to stay in Fremont for PPI, contact Guenther, who works in service at the Fletcher Jones Porsche dealership. That dealership is very supportive of the local PCA region, Diablo, and they do the techs prior to Diablo track events. There is one tech there that is excellent and I am sure would do a good job.

Of course it is hard to do better than my friend Peter Smith, PCA national tech chair. He is at Rector Porsche near SFO. Without traffic, about 30 minutes from Fremont.

All of these people know and respect each other.

Fremont is pretty expansive, and traffic to any of these places, except Fletcher Jones Porsche, can be a pain.

Again, I do not recommend any independents in this area, nor any "traveling techs" ... and I know the area extremely well.

From Fremont hop onto 237 to El Camino and (outside of rush hour) you'll be there in less < 20 minutes.
