why are 15" fuchs worth more than 16"
For those who are willing to suffer me... can you explain to me why the 15" fuchs are worth so much more than 16" fuchs.
I understand that the 7s and 8s in 16 are worth more than the 6s and 7s for tire width... but it seems to me that 15s are worth so much more simply because they are 15. Is it a weight thing? a scarcity thing? Thanks! |
Rarity.

Most race cars use 15's since the selection of race tires are better in 15.
|
thanks. I had a hunch, but preferred to get the right answer.
|
They arent more expensive. If you compare the same widths, 7s and 8's, the 16s bring more money.
(unless you get into some wide RSR 15" widths.. like 9s or 11s) |

Good point! I forgot about all those nerd wheels.. lol... So lets just go with 6, 7 and 8's. lol..
|
Oh! Well unless they are deep sixes (rare), then the 15s are generally cheaper.

While we're on this topic (with a slight hijack), what makes the heart wheels special/more desirable?
|
Oh, now I gotta know... is there a "cheat sheet" to the Fuchs? Kinda like in poker where 3 of kind is better than a pair, etc. etc.
Come on wheel whores (or nerds if you prefer) |
