Speedo conversion, mech to electric.
I am installing the engine and tranny from a '84 Carerra into my '72. Naturally, this also involves changing from a mechanical speedo to an electric. I had North Hollywood Speedometer convert an '85 electric speedo to look just like my old '72 mechanical (same face, silver disc needle, glass bezel...it looks great!). Now I'm trying to figure out what wires go to what. I have the sending unit and wires still attached to the '84 915. I believe all I have to do is run these wires up to the speedo. My question is which wires from the tranny, to which terminals on the speedo?
Thanks. Roger

the two sender wires are interchangable.
