Magnetic Stone Guards: Feedback
Hello Pelicanites,
We patterned these magnetic stone guards after the latest "Speedster" shark fins. These are made from high energy magnetic material and mount over the clear factory SG's. They do not yellow over time can be removed and re-mounted in seconds. These offer extra protection from road debris and are excellent for track applications and long road trips. We offer these in Matte Black, Gloss Black and Carbon Fiber. Prices start at $64.95 a set. These fit 993/996/997. I have a set of a competitors magnetic guards on my 911 and love them. You can remove them to clean, they stay put at triple digits and on the track and if I get tired of the look, I remove them.
Magnetic is the way to go. Those look very nice and the price is not bad. Nothing for earlier 911's?

Joe Bob...point taken.
Perhaps I should clarify: these finishes can be applied to earlier 911 stone guards as well. Thanks. |

Bill...I think that you would need some pretty serious magnetics to withstand the wind resisitance generated at speed. That's not to say the idea does not have merit. Our focus is more towards the graphic application of magnetics.
