Is this an original air filter housing for a '65 911?

Not all that familiar with the pre '69's. Just curious.

It is an early aircleaner housing and looks to be sitting on top of Solex's but I couldn't say it's specifically a '65. Tell us about the rest of the car!

Yes, it's the original air cleaner for Solex 911s. This car appears to have the Solex carbs also. A '65 would have those.
