Goodwood Revival, UK
Hi All -
I am going to the Goodwood Revival next September. Has anyone ever gone before? I want to get things set in stone as much and as soon as possible and would really welcome any advice from those in the know. Thanks!!! -Scott S

Book your hotel early. (I would recommend you book 20 minutes away from Goodwood; that brings you near the coast and the drive up can be entertaining.)
Bring period clothing or something that looks like it could have been around in the sixties. It is not obligatory but they appreciate it. They spent money on bringing period ambulances and firetrucks in sight of the spectacle but when something happens on track the modern gear comes out of camouflage. So you can see that they appreciate you being dressed period correct. Other then that. Pray for good weather. If you want grandstand seating I believe you are best with the one at Woodcote. This Duke fellow sure knows how to organise something. Michel
