Help needed - Clutch helper spring In trying to replace my clutch helper spring so that my wife can drive the car while I'm gone (deploying to Kandahar in two weeks), I'm a bit stuck. Pulled the old broken spring off, reassembled the arm, and everything appears ok . But, in the process of reassembly I've got a few problems: - the clutch pedal was depressed, and now is flat on the floor; - the new spring is physically larger than the older, and I cannot get it to seat, so cannot get the arm back into its seemingly correct position; - I'm not sure if, once the arm is seated, if the clutch itself will function.... Basically, I'm stumped, and could used some "real time" help! |

You seem to have the spring on wrong, flip it over. Here is a pic of the correct setup. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1317498189.jpg |

Ahhhh, thank you. I'll flip it tomorrow morning - much appreciated! |

Make sure the spring is against the heat exchanger, when flipped, it will also go in another position which you can rectify with a large screwdriver. |
