Question Creak/Squeek from Frt Suspension

Yesterday morning (on way to local PCA event) as I backed out of the garage, I heard creaking/squeeking from the left front suspension.

Came back, pushed down on the bumper, yup, there is a definite creak coming from somewhere. So I pulled the wheels, looked all around - no leaks, no obvious signs. Tried to move the suspension/wheel manually, I'm not strong enough to move it much.

Buttoned it up, creak goes away. For 24 hours. Now it is back. Particulars: '87 Carrera, 65K miles, Turbo Tie Rods, orig Boge shocks (front).

Anyone have a similar experience or have an educated guess on the cause? Shocks, bushings?

I'd like to try to fix it myself, so anything to help me get through the troubleshooting would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Don

How about the sway bar mounts and rubber bushings? Mine creaks but I have Adjustable ones.

When I get this is is the ball joints. Not sure how different yours is as it is a newer car. Does it also happen when you turn the steering wheel? When mine starts, I shoot inside the rubber on the joint with a hypo needle (big!) and some tranny fluid. Stops it for a while, but obviously the fix is to replace them as there are no grease nipples to lube them.
