Bentley says every 7,500 miles.
Haynes says every 6,000 miles. (is that 1972 dino-oil) And most of what I hear here, is to change oil every 3000 miles. So who's right? With a 3 gallon oil system it seems conservative to change every 6k; making 3k hyper-conservative. . . .unless you racing in a desert. Any other thoughts on this? It think it is all down to opinion!.
The more regular the better- obviously. But I believe that the synthetic oils last longer!. ![]() - No reason for the smiley except that I cannot resist them ![]() |

7500 is fine. Don't believe the Jiffy Lube hype. Motor Oils have gotten so much better in the past 20 years that the 3K mark is no longer needed...

![]() 6000-7500 miles, sure oil's good for it, but oil changes are cheap (especially for DIY's)...why not baby it for a couple extra bucks. It certainly won't hurt. Matt 77 911 S Targa |
