Another Ventilation Question
Thanks to those who answered my questions about what the ventilation system on my '70 911T should look like. I have all the parts I need and am ready to install, except...
There is a hole in the center of the car, right under where the blower motor assembly is. A smaller hole is also there, apparently for the drain out of the blower. I have attached a couple of pics of the hole. Does the larger hole have a purpose or should it be covered? David Nolen '70 911T ![]()

On every P-car I had, that large hole was covered by a circular paper/fiber disc. I believe it was used if the car had the gas-fired heater installed in the smugglers box otherwise, seal it up.

Thanks. I've had several 911's, but never had to mess with the ventilation system. It was completely removed, but he did leave the A/C !

Can anyone tell me how the power cable routes to the ventilation blower? I have what appears to be a plug on the firewall, but can not figure out the routing to the blower.
