exciting day for me....
Got my pressure fed tensioners kit in the mail today. A question that I have is, do these need to be bench bled somehow? Or are they self bleeding? This leads to the next question, is there a check valve within the tensioner that periodically bleeds air from the system?
Also, what other tips and or pointers do you guys have for the install? thanks again, as always, Chris |

Chris,
Based on the note at the end of Wayne's article, as posted here and cussed and discussed a few months back ... I would suggest 'bench bleeding' in a pan of oil with Vise-Grip 'C-clamp' style tool. http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/911_carrera_chain_tensioners/911_carrera_chain_tensioners2.htm
