Plastic Air Cleaner cover decals...83' SC...1 is missing...

I am wondering if anyone knows what the missing sticker is for this cars plastic air cleaner cover...on the left side of the cover is the a/c refridgerant info & if memory serves me, the right side should have the Shell oil sticker...
If this is correct, can someone please confirm either way & tell me what goes there if not the Shell sticker I am thinking of...
Lastly, what ever goes there, are they still available & where...?? I know some crafty pelicanites have replicated some of the stickers but possibly not this one...??
Thx for your time & knowledge... :-)
Bob

It's a Shell Oil sticker, says something like "use factory recommended Shell oil." I'm sure I have a cover that has one in a box. I'll get a pic of it.

Thx, Bob

Here's a pic. I wish I knew where to get them, I want one as well. My insurance company actually owes me one from my fire.

Hi Bob,

I can get you the shell sticker part number.

Can you do me a favor? I have 16s' fuchs on my 81 and I remember removing the "tyre" sticker when I painted the car. I am pretty sure it is in the driver's door jamb somewhere. Can you shoot a pic of your tire sticker and post it? If you are able, back off a bit so I can see the general placement of it.

You are also missing the fan shroud sticker - at first glance, but I am not sure 83 has that one. I will confirm now.

Back with data in a few.

Edit - Here is the fan shroud info - Looks like Pelican has it. See the last post.

911SC fan housing sticker

Looks like the original Shell sticker is not available.

Shell sticker on SC air cleaner?

I googled "1983 Porsche 911 engine" and your sill stickers look correct. I did find one 1982 SC with a sticker I have never seen before on the sill.

ScottR...great find in your library of files...thx...I will call them in the AM to see if they have an ALL yellow bkgnd version as one of the threads that Bob K posted after you seems to say that the original shell's had a ALL yellow background...??

BobK...thx also...I will call pelican on the fan schroud sticker tomorrow...As for your "tyre sticker", the one pictured on the rear sill of the car I posted, is the only place where a tyre sticker is on this car...do you still want for me to take a close up of it on the rear sill...?? Am I possibly missing a decal from one of the door jam areas or such as you say...??

Thx again all... Bob

Nope on the pic - Which cell does it go in? 1 2 3 or 4?

Thank!

FWIW - The 16" stickers are about $100. :-o

of course it is the one illegible... :-) = the 3rd cell = 3rd one in from the left side of car...so I understand you correctly = you do not need for me to take a pic of the tyre sticker on the rear shelf, correct...??

Also - Correct - I do not need the pic if I have the cell location - thanks!

Thx Bob & others for your help here...

Another question...does anyone know if the engine fan schroud strap "engine spec decal" would be the same for an 82' USA SC as for an 83' USA SC...?? Something tells me 83' was the 1 st yr for a world car = Canada & USA & possibly another export country from Porsche/Germany = that Porsche made the same car for these ports of import...??

Anyone have info on the paint code/name decal thats in the front trunk & where these can be made...?? I believe I am correct that one of these decals also goes in the 2nd cell on the rear sill of the car along with all of the other decals...

Also, I am looking into having our host make the correct Shell decal for the air box cover...so stay tuned since if they can have it made, it will be for sale on the site then...

Thx, Bob

I have ROW car parts catalogs that go back to the 356.

Here are the part numbers from a link above for the fan strap decal - Don't know if they are different. But in the link it appears to have a year reference in the sticker.
911SC fan housing sticker
930 006 513 18 1982
930 006 513 21 1983

Is this the cell for the tyres?

Hey Bob...You are correct for the decal p/n's you list... I found the same #'s posted within one of the threads listed above by you or another contributor to my q's here...

Also correct for the cell for the tyre decal...

The cell 1 over to the left is where the paint code/name decal goes...maybe pelican can help to get that reproduced also...I will ask about that when I hear back on the Shell Oil decal...

Thx, Bob

My 83 SC doesn't have the decal on the fan strap it has it as a large silver decal on the inside of the deck lid left side.

JJ91SC...thx for the info...I checked the car here & guess what...?? This particular car has functioning a/c and on its rear lid on the rt side is the engine timing, ect specs...I didn't think to look there...Thx...

Also, the car you show & state as 74-89, is that a USA or Euro car as you are in Canada, right...??

I have never seen an alternator/regulator decal before...Can you post a pic please & what the p/n on it says so I can see if still available...

There was an 82' targa in here a while ago and in the 2nd cell it had its paint code/color name decal where you say Tire pressure is...If you could, can you take a crisp pic of ALL of your decals & list their p/n's and I will do the same on the dk red car in here now...

Thx, Bob
