Danger in using 45mm pressure plate to flywheel bolts?

Is there going to be any issue if I use 45mm vs. 42mm pressure plate to flywheel bolts, all things being equal? 915 transmission to 3.0 SC motor. Aluminum pressure plate. Stock flywheel. Does that extra 3mm stick out the back of the flywheel and cause clearance issues as it spins? It's a lot easier to get bolts in increments of 5mm, obviously, and I can get 45mm socket cap bolts in 12.9 strength right around the corner from my house and not have to wait for ordering, delivery, etc. Anyone see a potential problem if I use those?

I doubt very much 3mm will make any difference ... just don't mix them together ! I'm waiting
for some 80 mm pressure plate bolts from the dealer as i stripped two while removing my clutch last week ...

Wish they were just around the corner ... lol

Cheers !

Yes, Austin Bolt Company is quite nice to have around the corner when you own a Porsche!

the pressure plate bolts can be reused (unless they are stripped or something).

I do have a Fastenall outlet around the corner but they only sell in quantities ...

Came in handy when i needed some new high grade allen bolts to install the sliders and side brackets for my Sparco seats ... still have enough left to do another car, as i had to buy a box of 50

Cheers !
