I know the obvious rods that go to the vaccume diaphram, but I was wondering if the
THROW on the clutch arm is different? I have a 71e w/standard pedals for early 915...however, I've gone and put a 78 tranny in it--requiring the 78 clutch cable for the horeshoe arm. I ask because I've been having MAJOR chatter--So bad, it's making the Rear wheels jerk, and the car vibrates-(complete stop in 1st) Today I pulled the clevis pin off and examined the adjustment of the cable at the pedal.....MAXED all the way in for Full tightness....I was hoping it was the BOWDEN tube problem some have mentioned..... SO I now Ask if perhaps it's the Throw of the old style pedal with the new style cable---DIFFERENT LENGTHS??? Thanks for reading..........s in Va |

Hello
Yes the 2,2 clutch pedal lever is different and has therfore a other ordernumber. The 2,2 still has a 901 but with the newer 915 style clutch mechanismen. As far I know the rod eye has a 1cm more leverage. Grüsse |
