Who did your machine work?

Who did you use for your valve grind, valve guides, measuring/balancing your crankshaft, etc....?

Did you go local or send the work out?

I live north of San Francisco--any local reccomendations appreciated. Any advice on pricing appreciated.

Thanks!

BTW, this is for a 150k-mile 3.0 SC

I sent mine to Competition Engineering:
"Competition Engineering Contact Information - Expert Porsche Machining for 45 years"

They are not terribly far from you. Excellent communication and service.

I had Ted Robinson at German Precision (San Jose) do my case and heads. Great guy. I had my crank done by Armando at Custom Crankshaft Repair (CCR) in San Mateo.
Am happy with the results.

EBS sends their work out to a local machinist. I highly recommend Arron Burnham; he's local to you.

Thanks, all. More questions to follow, I'm sure.
