Washer tant mounting strap
I have a 86 Carrera, does any one have an idea how big the metal strap that secures it is? The tank was missing when I bought the car. I bought a used tank but it did not come with the mounting strap. I was thinking McMaster Carr would have something that would work but how long should it be?
Thanks, Bernie |

Don't even bother with fabricating a part. By the time you drive to a store or order a part(s) then craft on it to make it fit it will be a push.
Original part number is 911 628 081 00 Has been superseded to this part: Pelican Parts - Product Information: OEM-91162808102 I double checked it on auto atlanta and they are the same price with reference to the superseded part number. You will need an M6 X 20 hexagon-head bolt (900-378-030-01-OEM) This lock washer http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/smart/more_info.cgi?pn=OEM-N0120072&catalog_description=Genuine%20Porsche%20Part%3A%20 SPRING%20RING This washer - http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/smart/more_info.cgi?pn=900-151-003-02-OEM&catalog_description=Washer%2C%20A%36%2E%34mm%2C%20 each Last edited by Bob Kontak; 10-12-2011 at 05:03 PM.. |
