Amazing collection in the pits and the corral.....My face still hurts from the grin overload. The Baja Cantina was a real hoot last night - Sat at the table next to Porsche chief designer Tony Hatter and his entourage. More fun tomorrow!

Well at the risk of getting flamed I think RRIII was better in a couple of ways IMHO. First as cool as Laguna is for fan viewing the infrastructure for car display and fan accommodations is better at Daytona. Maybe that's a wash depending on your point of view. The visitor car's are definitely great and all in all likely superior to the ones you saw in the lots at RRIII but RRIII was before the new Porsche Museum was opened and Porsche brought over a lot more of the significant factory cars than are here this time. So that's a bit of a disappointment. On the other hand Florida race shops and museums filled in the void proudly. From Brumos to the Collier collection to Gunnar Racing they really helped by bringing some classic hardware. It's still the best Porsche gathering on the planet but I'm glad I made it to RRIII back in '07.
