Porsche Crest A/C Condenser Removal.

How do you get the condenser unit in the smugglers box out. I have every thing lose I just can't seem to get it to come out. Thanks

i just did this last week, behind the floor board and behind the carpet on the passenger side is a little bracket / plug that needs to be removed, took me forever to realize this...

The unit in the smugglers box is the evaporator not the condenser. Remember the screws under the passenger side floor board.

My 76 has screws under the wooden floor. Some others are under the floorboard. These were all dealer installed and were not always installed the same way.
