Are these seals shot?? pics

Hi

As some of you may know, my car is missing its aluminum trim on both the front and rear windscreens.

I took a couple of pictures, as they tend to speak for themselves:

You can see in the corners on both units that the seals are crimpped and not sealing properly.

The seals do not appear cracked....is this something that could be fixed by removal and proper installation? Or have they maybe shrunk and are ready to be replaced?

Thanks for input from anyone who has been there. As it stands now, they leak. I am not even going to try to install the trim as it stands. I am thinking the PO did it himself , and it was a real bugger of a job so he said the ^&(% with it , I'm driving...and never installed the trim!
