993 seats installed - I'm so happy!

Some of you might remember that I bought 2 black leather 993 front seats in Sweden recently.

I was a bit nervous if they would require new holes drilled in the floor, but luckily that wasn't necessary. They actually fit straight in using the same holes as the original seats. The electrical hight adjustment doesn't work yet since I didn't have the original Porsche electrical connection, but it's ordered and will arrive in a week or so.

I'm very happy with the 993 seats. They are very comfortable and also provide much more sideways support than I expected. Also they don't look out of place in my old 1984. They actually look very good in the black cabin and makes the car look and feel much newer. I still have the black pinstribe cloth on the rear seats, but it doesn't look as bad as I feared. Ideally I should have the rear seats recovered in matching black leather, but for now I'll save the money. Anyway the 993 seats are a huge improvement
