Again ??!! Light ivory R-ish ST backdate

Just a sneak peak at what came back from the painters today.

Car started out as a fellow Pelican's met blue 74. Proper reinforcements for sport driving.
This is going to be the client's weekend fun car, for street and track.

Menu of goodies

TRE/ GTS Classic Car Seats "trans am" model in euro stitch pattern
RS carpet kit
RS door panels
Hush mat to keep the interior temps and noise down
TRE weld up deep 9 x 16 rear, 951 8 x 16 front
Extended steel rear RS flares
Michelin Sport cup tires
Elephant oil cooler lines, carrera fender cooler
R lamps front and rear (mocked up in pic, but not painted)
3.2 with 911Chips, SSi's, MK muffler- RSR tip style
915 , wevo shifter
recovered dash, new headliner
center fill TRE gas tank
torsions, raised spindle struts, revalved bilsteins, adjustable bars, Elephant polybronze front and rear, Elephant quick change upper monoballs.

With as light as it will be, we may leave the brakes alone (SC size)
More pics after Fraise ST gets completed and we have time to tackle this one

Wow!! very nice.

I want to come work for you, just so I don't have to work on any more Jeeps, Cavaliers, or any other non-classic domestics........

Hey Dave-

Did you fire this thing up yet? If so, how's the sound out of the M&K RSR style muffler? Are there perforated baffles inside the outlets? If so, any tweety birds inside like mine had?

See my post elsewhere on using Ben's inside caps bored out somewhat. That seems to work pretty well on my 1-in, 2-out. I'll try to drop by for a sound comparo.

Nice looking R, by the way.

we have a mk with the perf inserts on Rob Abbott's ST and no tweety birds. Its a two in and two out
The light ivory R-ish ST ;-) will be up and running by end of the week. So Saturday might be a good "sound off" comparo

Weird. Must be something about the 1-in.

Saturday is good. Loudest buys lunch?

Or, maybe bring it to SuperCar Sunday, Porsche being the favored marque on the 29th.

this car did not get the extensive work that Alex's car received. NO other car has received all that work ! ;-)

we did do some reinforcements here and there though.... can't help myself, it just sorta happens

looks good Dave, just don't let her take my two parking spaces... ;-)

I vote no decals, clean white. I like the engine grille, front fenders are very cool. nice stuff. you guys have been doing some really clean cars the last few years (not that have not always, I just have noticed a lot more magazine type cars from TRE)

NICE

Another great car Dave. At some point it would be nice to see, in print, a complete list of TRE built cars along with pics and a short bio/history on each, as if you don't already have enough to do.

Oh yea, I vote for the stripe kit, and keep the pics coming

The client picked the car up this week. Pelicans in the San Jose area may see it on a favorite twisty road from time to time, or track days in the area. Here are a few pics with its final stripe set up out in the sun.
